About the Colorado Hiking Moms

Hi we are Colorado Hiking Moms! A group of moms in Colorado who encourage each other to get outside in a safe and inclusive way. What started in 2021 as a small group of new moms going on hikes together every week has now turned into thousands of hiking moms across the state and growing. In this community we inspire, challenge, support, educate and instill confidence in one another whilst exploring nature with our little ones. 

We primarily organize events through our private Facebook group. Just this year, 2023, we have hosted 100+ events including hikes with and without the kids, park play dates, backpacking trips, family camping trips, zoo meet ups, educational opportunities and more!
